Chris Bousquet

Chris was born and raised on Manitoulin Island (a true Haweater to us locals!).  Like many, Chris left Manitoulin to pursue post-secondary education and explore city life.  Though he enjoyed Southern Ontario, it did not compare to life on Manitoulin.  Returning to his roots, Chris went to work in the family insurance and real estate business.  In 1995 Chris earned his Real Estate License and went on to his Real Estate Broker License in 1998. 

Having a thorough knowledge and long family history in the region, Chris possesses a solid understanding of local culture, real estate markets and trends. He truly believes in the importance of giving back to the community.  Chris carries on that tradition of his family with many years of volunteering as a firefighter,  member of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary,  Director and Vice Chair (past) of the Manitoulin Health Centre Board of Directors, as well as various sports organizations and clubs.  Chris continuously supports countless local organizations, clubs, youth sports, not for profits and fundraising initiatives. 

In 2013, Chris became the Broker of Record of the family brokerage.   His father Jim established the business in 1967 and has now retired, knowing their clients are in great hands. 

A proud father of one son, Chris enjoys spending quality family time, together with his partner, in the beautiful surroundings that the Manitoulin area has to offer.  When not working hard selling real estate, you are likely to find (or not!) Chris out on the waters fishing, boating or being at the cottage.  In the winter months, you may catch a glimpse as he flies down the slopes!
